I have always been insecure about my body and weight. By the time I was in 3rd grade, I was obsessed with being “skinny and perfect”. I always tried to lose weight the fastest way possible, by not eating, avoiding carbs, and even throwing up after eating. I would occasionally get up and go running and after a week, I would just give up when I didn’t see instant results.
When I was in my early teens, some of my family members used to make jokes about my weight. One time I vividly remember was when my uncle asked me “How much do you weigh?”
Do you know what all these transformations have in common? It’s not that they everyone lost the same amount of weight in the exact same time period. It’s not that they all saw the exact same results or that their transformations all look exactly the same. It’s that each one of these ladies worked their butts off to change their lives and they did it with the help of #BiteSizedFitness and the entire #BiteSizedArmy ?? When I post transformation pictures, they are real life examples of the multitude of results you can see using our program. Sure, some people see results faster than other. Yes, some changes are more dramatic than others. But all are the result of weeks of dedication and a commitment to live a happier, healthier lifestyle ? www.bitesizedfitness.com/guides
At the time, I was around 130 pounds, but I lied and said 124. He was absolutely SHOCKED and said, “You look like at least 140 pounds.” At only 5’2” that was considered overweight and unacceptable. That night, I just cried (like always) and didn’t really do much except avoid food for a few days.
I finally found BiteSizedFitness last year through Instagram. I was amazed at how great Alyse looked and she really proved to me that anyone could achieve the body of their dreams with hard work. I knew that if I wanted to change, I had to do something about it.
I made a huge poster filled with motivational quotes, exercises, foods to eat and to avoid, and even included a work out calendar!
Although I didn’t look much different in the beginning, I felt so confident and energetic. I was always happy and stopped comparing myself to the other girls in my grade. My health was better, my mood was better, and even my grades improved!
I’m not going to lie - it was a SLOW process. It took me a few weeks to notice a difference and it took months for others to notice that I had lost weight. I never considered giving up because I knew I wanted a new lifestyle. After almost 9 months, I am the healthiest and happiest I have ever been. I am much more social and have the motivation to do new things!
Now, I love going out and meeting new people. Before, I would try and find excuses to lay in bed and hide from everyone. I hated meeting new people and always assumed I was being judged based on my appearance.
They probably didn’t, but my insecurity made me feel like everyone was laughing at my body. Because of this new lifestyle, I am CONFIDENT and meeting new people doesn’t terrify me, it actually excites me.
I love being a part of the #BiteSizedArmy. It reminds me that everybody struggles at one point in time, but the point is to never give up. I absolutely love seeing the transformations of other girls in the #BiteSizedArmy and it smile to see them changing their lives.
My favorite resources are the meal plan and shopping list. I always look at it for reference when I go grocery shopping! I normally don’t know what to eat or when to eat so the meal plan is a huge help!
