I can’t really pinpoint one event that led me to become unsatisfied with my health and appearance, more like little things that built up over time. I was “skinny fat” all throughout high school and for years after that. Eventually, all the going out, alcohol, and fast food took a toll on my appearance.
I started getting bigger and bigger in photos and it got to the point where I would rather take pictures than be in them. I tried to avoid anything that required a swimsuit and I never wanted to go shopping. At only 5’1” and 155 POUNDS I was disappointed in myself.
Up until this program, I had dabbled in working out, but never lasted longer than a month or so. I always let life get in the way. But with young children and a family history of type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol, I knew I had to change. I knew I wanted to be around to play with my children for years to come.

Becoming apart of BiteSizeFitness has been fantastic! Alyse is so great and I really enjoy her ideas, guidance, and hearing about her experiences… It made me feel like I wasn’t alone. My favorite moment was when my weight finally dropped to under 140lbs! For over three years I hadn’t been able to get below 140-150lbs, so when I saw 139, I couldn’t stop grinning!
Before becoming apart of the #BiteSizedArmy, all of my pants were too tight. Now, I am proud to say that they are so loose I can pull them up without even unzipping them! I’ve learned what foods to make and what type of workouts to do. I used to be one of those “cardio” junkies who would spend an hour on the elliptical and call it a day.
Sure, I burned fat, but I had no muscle tone and never saw a consistent change in my body. I would wander around the gym and just look at the equipment, unsure of what to do for strength training. NOT ANYMORE! Now I have guides to help me, so I never second guess myself.

Over the past 12 weeks I have made HUGE changes in my life. This program gave me useful knowledge and tools to reach my goals. The nutritional guides alone are amazing! It makes grocery-shopping trips much shorter and easier for me, speaking of, time for some weekly meal prep!
